VANCOUVER, BC – Stanley Park Brewing has announced the release of its 4th annual Pink Boots Collaboration Brew in celebration of International Women’s Day.
Big Jan Wears Pink Boots Hazy IPA (6.3% abv):
Big Jan Wears Pink Boots is a delicious, sessionable Hazy IPA in tribute to Assistant Brewer, Rachel Young’s mother Jan. Coming in at 6.3% Alc./Vol. and 29 IBU, it showcases the 2021 Pink Boots hop blend, featuring notes of citrus, tropical fruit, and a hint of pine.
“Big Jan was my mum, and she was a huge impact on my life,” shared Rachel in the release announcement. “She never told us that we couldn’t do something because I was a woman or because I was smaller. It was all about, if you want it you can go out and achieve it and don’t tell anyone that you can’t do it.”
Big Jan Wears Pink Boots is available now Stanley Park Brewpub and online shop. All proceeds from sales will go to the Pink Boots Society, to help support women in brewing.
