TORONTO, ON – Muddy York Brewing has announced the (slightly delayed) release of the 2022 vintage of its annual anniversary beer.
Plank Road Baltic Porter (8.5% abv):
Baltic Porters are a panorama of malts. Deep, dark, complex malt. They are a higher alcohol, more robust version of Porter with a clean, smooth mouthfeel and moderate to low bitterness. This year’s Barrel-Aged Plank Road Baltic Porter has notes of raisin and prune (thanks to that sherry barrel of ours) also dark chocolate and molasses. It pairs well with hearty food like roasts, barbecue, grilled sausage, cheese plates or desserts like chocolate cheesecake and pecan pie.
