CHILLIWACK, BC – Bricklayer Brewing has announced the release of a new beer inspired by “an eerie little tune” by Joanna Newsom.
Peach Plum Pear Golden Ale (5.5% abv):
She’s a gorgeous golden ale flaunting tons of Amarillo hops (floral! fruity! peachy!) and bragging about how much plum and pear we added after fermentation. Major delicious flavours! So much going on! You shut your eyes and try and chase them down with your taste buds and all of a sudden it’s easy to imagine a warm breeze…and hear some waves crashing…all of a sudden your somewhere far away – maybe a tiny bar on the Italian coastline? I mean, in real life you are sitting at Five Corners in Chilliwack BC but this beer makes it easier to see the beauty of it all.
