VANCOUVER, BC – Container Brewing has announced details of a fundraising event it will be hosting this weekend for Ukraine relief.
Beer + Pierogi Day will take place at the brewery on Sunday April 24th starting at 12:00 noon, featuring pierogi from Russian Spoon Bakery, and beer from Container including the recently tapped Frau Ribbentrop, a Belgian-style wit brewed using the recipe shared by Pravda Beer Theatre in Lviv, Ukraine.
All proceeds from pierogi sales and $500 from beer sales will be donated to the Maple Hope Foundation to support its work helping those affected by the ongoing war in Ukraine.
