CALGARY, AB – The Establishment Brewing Company has announced the release of a new beverage in collaboration with Confluence Distilling.
Black Manhattan Cocktail (29% abv):
Way back when, we made a special & secret beer and sent it over to our pals at Confluence Distilling. We love to dabble in new barrel-ageing playgrounds, so we jumped at the chance to work with Confluence to distill the beer into a single-malt spirit. We aged the spirit in Merlot barrels, which infused a dry cherry-oak flair, balanced by the sweet citrus of Amaro Averna and enhanced with black walnut and cherry bitters. The result is our take on a classic cocktail for whisky lovers defined by flavours of dark red fruit, subtle herbal hints, and a sweeter palate.
Black Manhattan is available now on tap and in bottles at both Establishment and Confluence.
