SCOTLAND, ON – Flux Brewing has announced the return of a beer from the early days of the brewery which raises funds for a worth cause.
Jacked Up Coffee Porter (4.8% abv):
Jacked Up is dedicated to our friend Jack, who was diagnosed with Williams Syndrome at birth, a rare genetic disorder causing medical problems like cardiovascular disease, developmental disease, learning challenges and developmental delays. Despite the challenges he faces, Jack is a positive force with a huge smile and an even bigger heart. His dad’s pretty cool too – Mike Gatopoulos, coffee expert and owner of Seventh Coffee Company.
Mike made us our very own “Jacked Up” roast, which we steeped to make a concentrated cold brew and added to the beer. The result is a porter made for summer – light and smooth, featuring notes of roasted malt, chocolate & caramel with a coffee kick and silky mouthfeel.
Jacked Up is available now at the Flux Brewing taproom, with $1 from every pint and growler sold going to the Lansdowne Children’s Centre Foundation in Brantford.
