PENTICTON, BC – Cannery Brewing has announced the the third annual release of a beer that celebrates the summer.
Okanagan Daze Apricot & Pinot Gris Wheat Ale (5% abv):
This seasonal beer is a refreshing Canadian Wheat Ale with notes of citrus and stone fruit. A large addition of wheat gives this beer a slight haze. We added more than 150 kg of ripe apricot purée and 150 litres of bright, citrus-forward Pinot Gris juice during fermentation to give this classic summer beer an Okanagan feel. The result is a refreshing fruit beer and wine hybrid with electric notes of stone fruit and lemon.
Okanagan Daze is available now at the Cannery taproom and store, and will soon be in stock at select retailers in British Columbia and Alberta.
