TORONTO, ON – Nominations are now open for the 2nd annual edition of the Canadian Brewers Choice Awards, a competition founded by Brewers Journal Canada that is “designed to recognize the very best in Canadian brewing, where the best of the best are put in the spotlight for their achievements.”
Categories for this year’s awards, and their respective supporting sponsors, include:
Young Brewer of the Year (Charles Faram Brewing Supplies)
Brewer of the Year (BrewNinja)
Branding of the Year (North Keg)
New Brewery of the Year (Carefoote Beverage Solutions)
Brewery of the Year (Jenrey Ltd.)
Sustainability Initiative of the Year (Top 5 Solutions)
New Beer of the Year (Brewery Trader)
Beer of the Year (Vessel Packaging)
Lifetime Achievement Award (BSG)
Nominations can be submitted online, and winners will be selected later this year by a judges panel that includes beer experts Ren Navarro and Roger Mittag, Brewers Journal editor Tim Sheahan, and others from the Brewers Journal Canada team. An awards ceremony will follow in the winter, with date and location to be announced.
