VANCOUVER, BC – A brewery that aims to offer “beer with all the qualities of August: full sun, long days and filled with possibility” has opened its doors near Granville Island in Vancouver.
Brewing August has been founded by friends Adam Jones, Tate Lillies, and Travis Rea, and has had several beers on the market since last year via a contract brewing arrangement with Patina Brewing.
Now set up in a its own space with on-site brewing set to start soon, Brewing August soft opened its retail store last weekend, and has now added taproom service, with a beer line-up that includes Blonde IPA (6.8% abv), Golden IPA (7% abv), Citra Pilsner (5.2% abv), Pale Ale (5.5% abv), and Raspberry Dry Hopped Sour (5.5% abv).
To accompany the beer, Las Autenticas is serving up Mexican food including tacos, nachos, and tortas.
