KELOWNA, BC – Bad Tattoo Brewing has applied for a liquor licensing change at its off-shoot location that opened in Kelowna last year to allow for on-site brewing and more flexible beer sales.
Currently, Bad Tattoo Pizzeria is licensed as a food primary establishment, and serves beer brewed at the original Penticton location which can only be ordered with meals.
The company is looking for a liquor license amendment for the installation of a brewhouse to produce small batch and seasonal beers, as well a lounge endorsement to allow customers to order beer without food, and a retail endorsement for take-away beer sales. The current capacity and business hours of the bar and restaurant would remain unchanged.
The application for these changes was approved by Kelowna city council last week, and now requires approval from the Provincial Liquor and Cannabis Regulation Branch.
