OTTAWA, ON – Broadhead Brewery has announced the latest release in its 174 Taproom Series of limited edition beers.
Peach Milkshake IPA (5.3% abv):
A hazy beauty brewed with loads of oats, wheat and milk sugar topped off with endless amounts of peach purée. It pours a dense tangerine orange, with a moderate creamy off-white foam crown that traces the glass with each sip. The nose is peachy, with some nice citrus and vanilla undertones to round things out. On the palate peach creamsicle and sweet stone fruit flavors will hit you first, with a light pineapple juice tartness and delayed lingering bitterness that follows. It’s lusciously full bodied with moderate carbonation, creamy mouthfeel and pleasantly hoppy finish.
