NEWMARKET, ON – Market Brewing has announced the release of a new beer to mark the impending return of Market Bingo, a weekly bingo night at the brewery that raises money for local charities.
Goliath Cold Pale Ale (5.4% abv):
A cold pale ale is a balance between a lager and a pale ale. We ferment this pale ale colder for a crisper finish, and dry hop for citrus, apricot, and floral notes. We then use a cold lagering process to further clean this winner up. Bingo!
The brewery also notes that it will now be holding its Market Bingo nights under an official bingo hall license, as explained in a press release:
After much persistence and hard work, they have obtained a Class C Bingo License which will allow them to run Market Bingo every Thursday night. Market Bingo nights will give guests a chance to win prizes and money while enjoying some delicious brewed bevies. Bingo Nights will also see local food trucks setting up shop for guests to try some great food! Most importantly, a portion of the money to play bingo will be given to various local charities. Each month a new charity will be on the receiving end of much needed additional funding as that sector has been hit brutally hard during the pandemic.
Goliath Cold Pale Ale is available now at the Market Brewing retail store and online shop. Market Bingo will take place on Thursday September 1st and every Thursday thereafter from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM, with proceeds from all of September’s events going to support the PKD Foundation of Canada York Region Chapter.
