VANCOUVER, BC – Container Brewing has announced details of four Belgian-inspired ales that will be released this weekend.
Duo Belgian Dubbel (6.6% abv):
A malt forward Belgian ale featuring notes of dark fruit with toffee aromas. Aged on rum soaked toasted french oak to add another layer of complexity and nuanced flavour. Naturally carbonated in the can for an authentically smooth and delicate mouthfeel. This beer is a collaboration with our good friends at Dageraad. Their head brewer, and owner/founder, Ben spent the day with us and helped develop the recipe from the onset as well.
Dark Arts Belgian Quadrupel (10.2% abv):
Decadent notes of plum, dried fruit and spice are complemented by a subtle and smooth warming alcohol sensation. Medium bodied and well balanced with just a hint of sweetness. A classic Quadruple that is indulgent and satisfying.
Tapestry Belgian Tripel (7.8% abv):
Just as a Tapestry is woven, so too are craft ingenuity and raw ingredients combined to make something which is more than the sum of its parts. Originating from one place but made all over the world, please enjoy our version of a Belgian Tripel.
Fever Dream Belgian IPA (6.5% abv):
The rare and enigmatic Belgian IPA is a challenging brew that threatens to drive any brewer to madness as they seek just the right hop additions to complement the complexities of Belgian yeast. This dreamy brew features a combination of Loral and Amarillo hops, delivering a backbone of earthy herbaceousness, followed by notes of bright citrus and sweet fruit.
All four beers can be pre-ordered now via the Container online shop, and will be officially launched this weekend (October 1st and 2nd) with a Belgfest at the brewery featuring guest taps, posters of the can label art designed by head brewer David Dayco, Belgian waffles from Patisserie Lebeau, and Belgian chocolates from Gem Chocolates.
See the Belgfest event page on the Container website for full details.
