EDGERTON, AB & CALGARY, AB – Following the recent closure of Rural Routes Brewing in Leduc, Alberta, two other breweries in the province have reportedly ceased operations.
According to the On Beer blog, Ribstone Creek Brewery in Edgerton and Legend 7 Brewing in Calgary have both shut down in recent weeks. Ribstone Creek had been in business since 2011, while Legend 7 opened its taproom in 2018.
Neither brewery has made an official closure announcement, but Ribstone Creek has not updated its social media accounts in more than a month, and Legend 7 announced on September 23rd that it would no longer be opening its taproom on Fridays, the only day it had been open for service over the summer months.
