VANCOUVER, BC – Following a two-year break due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the British Columbia Beer Awards ceremony and beer tasting festival for 2022 was held on Saturday November 5th at the Croatian Cultural Centre in Vancouver.
This year’s competition included 977 beers that were submitted by 120 breweries from across the province, and tasted blind by a panel of BJCP-certified judges, Certified Cicerones, and professional brewers over two weekends in September.
Awards were given to the top three beers (plus several honourable mentions) in 31 style categories, and a number of special awards were also distributed, including the following:

Also announced were several Creative Industry Awards in categories related to packaging, design, and promotions.
