Asymmetrical Brewing Now Open in Edmonton

EDMONTON, AB – A new brewery that aims to be “family-focused rather than family-friendly” is now open in Edmonton.

Asymmetrical Brewing has been co-founded by a group that includes Aaron Ejzenbart, Ian Frankton, Scott Varga, and Kristina Varga, and is located in part of the space that was home to Two Sergeants Brewing until its closure three years ago.

As reported by Taproot Edmonton, the “family-focused” mission is evident in features such as a wooden play structure for the little ones to enjoy, and a food program that eschews a separate kid’s menu in favour of items like mac & cheese, sandwiches, pretzels, and other selections that will appeal to the whole family.

At the bar, Asymmetrical is currently pouring five beers – Blonde Ale, Cream Ale, Caramel Malted Ale, Hazy Pale Ale, and Dark Ale – that are available by the glass and in crowlers to go. An assortment of house-made sodas are also on offer, along with coffee and sparkling water.

Asymmetrical Brewing is located at 11821 105 Avenue in Edmonton, and is open Tuesday to Thursday from 3:00 to 9:00 PM, Friday and Saturday from 12:00 noon to 10:00 PM, and Sunday from 12:00 noon to 7:00 PM.
