PICTON, ON – Slake Brewing has announced the release of a new collaboration with Counterpart Brewing.
Vista Pale Ale (4.8% abv):
Vista is a Pale Ale named after the Vista hops that are showcased in this beer. This is a pretty new hop varietal and we’re also using the first harvest of Ontario-grown Vista. This is the first new hop varietal to be grown in Ontario in a very long time.
We were lucky that Hayhoe Hops had just enough from this first harvest for us to dry hop this beer and, needless to say, we were anxious to see how it would taste.
The result: a super delicious Pale Ale with a creamsicle quality to it. 100% Ontario ingredients. Very juicy, low bitterness, soft and rounded. We love how this beer marries our two approaches to beer making and hope you like it, too!
