TORONTO, ON – Bellwoods Brewery has announced the release of four new beers, as precariously displayed in the photo above by brewery staff member Rocky.
Barn Owl No. 29 Wild Ale (7.1% abv):
A new Barn Owl emerges from our barrel aging program and holy moly are we glad to see it. Barn Owl 29 is a blend of sour pale ales conditioned on a nearly equal amount of local nectarines. Next, because we are big romantics at heart, we added dried rose petals for a complementary subtle floral pop. Guess what, it’s perfect.
A Non-Alc Dry Hopped Sour Ale V1 (0.5% abv):
We were positively blown away by the reception of our recent exploits into the world of non-alcoholic beer and we’re excited to unveil a new style. Our goal was to make a non-alc in Jelly King‘s image, and after many trials, technique recalibrations and dumped batches, we’ve landed on something we’re happy with. Our first A Non-Alc Dry Hopped Sour V1 is freshly canned and tasting delicious.
Greenbelly Mosaic Triple IPA (10% abv):
Our hugely aromatic Triple IPA returns, this time hopped exclusively with Mosaic. Greenbelly Mosaic delivers notes of peach pie, dark cherry and sweet lime, all within a minimally bitter and a pillowy soft body. In other words, this verdant-stomached lizard translates a great magnitude of hops into an impressively balanced, hazy orb of wonder.
A Stout with Coffee feat. Sam James Coffee Bar (5% abv):
Coffee and beer form a holy union that’s hard to rival; there’s something so simple yet stunning about layering roasted malts with roasted beans. A Stout with Coffee aims to be lightly sweet, chewy in body, and a vessel to show off the beans, which are from Toronto’s own Sam James Coffee Bar.
All four beers are available now at both Bellwoods locations and the brewery’s online shop.
