LONDON, ON – Storm Stayed Brewing has announced the release of two seasonal oatmeal stouts, one new(ish) and the other a returning favourite.
Danger Bay Oatmeal Stout with Cocoa Nibs, Chilies & Vanilla (5.4% abv):
A sultry Oatmeal Stout that was formerly available as a one-off cask at a recent event. It’s loaded with additions of cocoa nibs, ancho + pasilla chilies, and vanilla. As you can expect, this beer is subtly warming and features roasted malt on the palate, a subtle flavour of chilies, and aromas of coffee over a dry, espresso-like base.
Safe Harbour Oatmeal Stout (5.4% abv):
Fuller than a traditional dry stout, the oats in Safe Harbour add a smooth, pleasant richness and a thick, tan head that sticks around. Flavours of dark chocolate with subtle toffee help it pair nicely with aged cheddars, mole sauces, and desserts.
Danger Bay and Safe Harbour are available now at the Storm Stayed taproom and online shop.
