PENTICTON, BC – Cannery Brewing has released this year’s vintage of a favourite winter seasonal beer, along with a specially aged edition of last year’s version.
Kindling Imperial Stout (9% abv):
Fresh off winning Gold for our 2021 Kindling Imperial Stout at the Canadian Brewing Awards, our 2022 batch of Kindling is here, just in time for the festive holiday season. It was brewed with coffee from Seis Cielo Coffee, chocolate, oats, coconut and lactose.
Whisky Barrel Aged Kindling:
Around this time last year, we pulled out some of the 2021 batch of Kindling and laid it to rest in Double Gold medal winning Laird of Fintry Whisky barrels from Okanagan Spirits. Flavours of roasted malt, chocolate and caramel complement the oaked whisky all set atop perfect full-bodied sweetness. Double mashed with barley, oats and wheat.
Both beers are available now at the Cannery taproom and online shop, and soon at select liquor stores throughout British Columbia and Alberta.
