HAMILTON, ON – Fairweather Brewing has announced the release of two small batch beers.
Drift (6.5% abv):
The return of an oldie but a goodie, Drift is back in all the ways! Featuring a tart base with a touch of vanilla, and a generous helping of pineapple purée. Simple. Delightful. Believe it or not, this was gonna be the release for our birthday back in May, but we liked the way it was going, so we had to let it do its own thing for a little bit… And we’re glad we did!
Born Yesterday (9% abv):
Born Yesterday is a blend of German Gewürztraminer, mixed with some fresh and barrel aged saison. It’s bone dry, which is a different experience than we are used to when it comes to Gewurtz, and is also showing some of the time it spent in barrel. We are getting a lot of tart green apple, rose petals, and a little vanilla on the nose. On the palate there is some acidity, but nothing resembling sour — It’s super refreshing, and complex, but not so complex that you have to pretend to enjoy it.
