WINNIPEG, MB – Devil May Care Brewing has announced that its brewery taproom is opening today (December 23rd) in downtown Winnipeg.
Devil May Care was launched by homebrewers Colin Koop and Steve Gauthier in the spring of 2018, and initially operated out of Stone Angel Brewing before moving to the Torque Brewing facility in the summer of 2020. The partners signed a lease on their own bricks-and-mortar location in late 2021, and are now ready to welcome the public.
For its first day open, the brewery has teamed up with flighxclvb to host Flightmare Before Christmas. The event features 12 exclusive holiday themed beers on tap and available in tasting flights, an option that will not be offered on the taproom menu after today. $1 from each flight will be donated to a local charity, and customers are also encouraged to bring non-perishable food, new socks, and toiletry items.
Devil May Care Brewing is located at 155-A Fort Street at York Avenue in Winnipeg, and is open Wednesday and Thursday from 3:30 PM to 10:00 PM, Friday and Saturday from 12:00 noon to 11:00 PM, and Sunday from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Holiday closures will be in effect on December 24th/25th and January 1st.
