NACKAWIC, NB – A new brewing company in New Brunswick focussed on creating “fine barrel aged beers” has announced the release of its first brew.
Rackhouse Brewing is currently operating out of the Big Axe Brewery facility in Nackawic, and has launched with Rackhouse Stout (8.5% abv), an Imperial Stout aged for 100 days in corn whisky barrels from Moonshine Creek Distillery. It’s described as “quite smooth [with the] taste of tart cherry chocolate, accompanied by notes of fresh coffee and whisky, caramel and vanilla.”
Rackhouse Stout is on tap now at Big Axe, and will be pouring soon at other licensees in the area.
