KELOWNA, BC – Less than two months after the sale of Penticton’s Bad Tattoo Brewing to Yellow Dog Brewing, the brewery’s off-shoot bar and restaurant is also under new ownership.
Bad Tattoo Kelowna has been purchased by the Salt & Brick Group, which owns several other restaurants in Kelowna.
Co-owner James Addington told Castanet.net that the location will continue to operate under the Bad Tattoo name until the end of April, when it will close briefly for minor renovations before reopening under a new name as “a high-end sports bar”.
The new spot will not have any direct connection with Bad Tattoo/Yellow Dog, but Yellow Dog beers may be featured at the bar alongside other local beers and wines. The food program is also expected to retain the pizzas that have been the main attraction on the Bad Tattoo Kelowna menu.
