LAKE COUNTRY, BC – A new brewery and taproom that aims to “specialize in unique beers, good vibes, and connecting the community” is now open in Lake Country, a municipality in BC’s Okanagan Valley region.
Lake Country Brewing has been established by Jayson McCarthy and Jim Pink, and was in the works for close to two years before quietly launching late last week.
The opening beer line-up includes Ponderosa Pilsner, Orchard Ninja IPA, Can’t Wait 4 Summer Hazy IPA, and Oceola Amber, plus several guest taps. Cider, wine, and soft drinks are also available, and while the in-house food menu is limited to several flat breads, patrons are welcome to bring in or order food and food trucks will often be on site.
Lake Country Brewing is located at 4-10058 Highway 97 in Lake Country, and is currently open Thursday to Sunday. For more details including full business hours, see the brewery’s website and Instagram page.
