TORONTO, ON – Bellwoods Brewery has announced the release of a new collaboration with a renowned American brewery.
BOP Dark Chocolate Imperial Stout (9% abv):
For our latest collab we teamed up with Horus Aged Ales — a 100% oak aged Californian brewery consistently ranked among the best of the best across the world — to create a super roasty Dark Chocolate Imperial Stout named BOP (Bird Of Prey). It’s brewed with an astronomical ratio (the production team wanted to make sure we emphasize the sheer enormity here) of superb-quality cocoa nibs from Ghana, to impart that extra fudgy quality we were after.
BOP is available now at both Bellwoods locations and the brewery’s online shop, and the brewery also notes that “another batch sits in a combination of specially selected bourbon and rye barrels to meditate for the next several months.”
