CALGARY, AB – A new “world inspired, locally sourced” brewery and taproom is officially opening its doors today (March 17th) in Calgary’s Haysboro neighbourhood.
Stonyslope Brewing takes its name from a one-room schoolhouse that stood on the family farm of the brewery owners in the 1930s and 1940s.
Situated in the Haysboro Plaza, Stonyslope is opening with an initial beer line-up that includes Fresh Tracks Grisette (3.5% abv), Osmotar Sahti (7% abv), Riverside Fire Vossaol (6% abv), Nathir Irish Stout (4.5% abv), In Fair Verona Sour Cherry Sour (6.5% abv), and Windtower Nordic Pale Ale (4.5% abv), plus several guest taps.
The short but varied food menu includes snack boards, steak pie, borsch, perogies and sausage, and several other items.
Stonyslope Brewing is located at 9620 Elbow Drive in Calgary, and is open Wednesday and Thursday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Friday and Saturday from 12:00 noon to 11:00 PM, and Sunday from 12:00 noon to 8:00 PM. For more details, see the brewery’s website and social media pages.
