ABBOTSFORD, BC – Field House Brewing has announced the release the latest two beers from its BRRL ROOM series, as well as a new fruited sour ale.
Strawberry Foeder Ale (6.5% abv):
This foeder-aged sour is one of our last 2020 vintages, blended with high quality, locally grown BC strawberries. In collaboration with BC strawberry growers, we aged this foeder sour on 1000 lbs of strawberries for five months. Sea salt was added to enhance the body and sweetness, which is balanced with a complex acidity from our foeder culture. A complex display of a delicate and delicious fruit.
Raspberry Foeder Ale (8% abv):
This foeder-aged sour is our last 2020 vintage, blended with high quality, locally grown BC raspberries. In collaboration with BC raspberry growers, we aged this foeder sour on 1000 lbs of raspberries for 5 months. The result is a beer bursting with berry aromatics and flavour.
Strawberry Orange Sour Weisse (5.5% abv):
A sour wheat base beer provides the perfect canvas for fruit. We paired strawberries with both pureed tangerines and cara cara oranges for a bright, light, and easy drinking sour.
All three beers are available now at both Field House locations and select craft beer retailers.
