LONDON, ON – A new book looking at the “history and highlights of craft beer making in the Forest City” – aka London, Ontario – is now available.
Brewhopping Across London was written by Kym Wolfe and illustrated by Cheryl Radford, and follows the duo’s previous books: Hopping into History, a look at London’s Old East Village neighbourhood; and Barhopping Into History, which covered the city’s historic bars and taverns.
The 48-page book has the following description:
Just like people and neighbourhoods, London’s craft breweries have distinct personalities. Brewhopping Across London captures the rich history of brewing culture in London, its decline after prohibition, and recent explosive rebirth. Wolfe and Radford have created a handy introduction to the beer industry in London, replete with interesting historical facts and original art commemorating the city’s breweries. A very cool book for anyone who wants to learn a little more about brewing in the Forest City.
A launch event for Brewhopping Across London will be taking place at London Brewing on Saturday May 6th from 2:30 to 5:00 PM. Wolfe and Radford will both be on hand to discuss and sign the book, which will be available to purchase for $20 (cash preferred).
Brewhopping Across London is available now at several retail locations in London, including Attic Books, London CityStore, the Museum London gift shop. It can also be purchased online via Amazon.
