EDMONTON, AB – Alley Kat Brewing has announced the release of a new collaboration with Sherbrooke Liquor and The Common.
Marionberry Honey Wheat Ale (5% abv):
The marionberry was developed in the mid 1960s with the purpose of creating a delicious blackberry alternative, but remains fairly unknown. Only grown in a few valleys in Oregon, the marionberry is not well distributed due to the difficulty around transporting the berry with its unstable shelf life. We paired this uncommonly used sweet and tart berry with a honey wheat base to create a smooth, rich, earthy flavoured beer.
Marionberry Honey Wheat is available now at the Alley Kat taproom and retail store, Sherbrooke Liquor, and The Common.
