FORESTERS FALLS, ON – Almost a decade after opening in a former dairy barn in Foresters Falls, a community in the Upper Ottawa Valley, Whitewater Brewing has announced that it is moving to a new location.
In a new collaboration with Summerhill Resorts, Whitewater will be relocating its Riverside Brew Pub to 503 Rafting Road, a space that was previously home to Wilderness Tours. According to the announcement, the move will provide the brewery “with the space it needs to serve an ever-growing outdoor community.”
As for the original Whitewater location at Fletcher Road and Grants Settlement Road, Wilderness Tours will be keeping the bar and restaurant open under the name The River Barn, and will continue to serve Whitewater beer to customers.
Whitewater’s Lakeside Brew Pub location in Cobden which opened in 2016 will remain open with no changes related to this move.
A grand opening event for the new Whitewater Riverside Brew Pub will be taking place on Saturday June 3rd, featuring a family-style dinner and live music from Yukon Blonde, Wintermonths, and other local artists. For more details and to buy tickets, see the event page on Eventbrite.
