Slake Brewing Releases Long Cloud IPA and Yes Pink Guava Sour

PICTON, ON – Slake Brewing has announced the release of a new collaborative ale, and a beer in a style not often seen from Slake.

Long Cloud IPA (6.5% abv):

A few weeks ago we had a great time hosting our friends from Badlands Brewing here at the brewery. They’re well known for their approach to IPAs, so naturally that’s what we made together.

Long Cloud is an IPA brewed with New Zealand Hops from Freestyle Hops. We used a hop product called Mega Motueka that made the beer taste and smell like a delicious fruit smoothie. Then we dry-hopped it with a good dose of Nelson Sauvin (Sauvignon Blanc juice vibes) and NZ Cascade (Welch’s grape juice vibes) to make this incredibly soft, full-bodied, delicious IPA.

Yes Pink Guava Sour (6% abv):

This next beer is a bit of a departure from our usual styles but we had a lot of fun brewing it and we’re very excited to share it with you.

Yes is a sour beer made with SO MUCH pink guava. There’s really not much to say about this one. Pink. Guava. Sour. This is juice. So much pink guava juice. It’s not super sour so you just drink it and love it. If you love pink guava juice.

Both beers are available now at the Slake taproom, retail store, and online shop.
