PARRY SOUND, ON – Trestle Brewing has announced the release of a new charity beer created in partnership with Sawdust City Brewing.
Inclusion – A Community Beer (3% abv):
Brewed here at Trestle in collaboration with a huge crew – Sawdust City Brewery, Community Living Parry Sound, Community Living South Muskoka and Brew Culture – this Session Hazy IPA is a collaboration between two breweries with a vision to connect not only as breweries, but as forces that can do good within our communities.
Inclusion celebrates our friends and neighbours who have developmental disabilities – people whose wisdom, skills, and experiences are essential to the fabric of our community. Good things happen when everyone is included in community life.
Inclusion has been released with two different labels, with both of the Community Living groups putting a selection of artwork by the people they support to a public vote to choose a winning design.
The Community Living Parry Sound selection is CP Rail by Peter Snow, a “life-long train enthusiast and beloved member of our community” who passed away in 2022.
The Community Living South Muskoka selection is Streets of Colour by Randy McDonald, who says that he “worked on my painting with a nice friend (passport worker). Those are all of my favourite colours.”
Inclusion – A Community Beer is available now at the Trestle taproom and retail store in Parry Sound, and the Sawdust City taproom in Gravenhurst. All profits will go to support Community Living’s programs.
