WHITBY, ON – Town Brewery has entered a five-year agreement with the Town of Whitby to operate a “pop-up beer garden and mini market” at the Historic Pump House, a 119-year-old structure on the Whitby lakefront.
An Instagram post announcing the partnership included the following details:
We are not moving the brewery there, but we will be attempting to create the coolest place around to enjoy a beverage. Since 2017, we’ve operated Town Brewery with a focus on strengthening our community through good work and good times. On top of the beer garden, we have numerous other special events planned to showcase this beautiful space and further our community building efforts.
An earlier report from InDurham stated that the beer garden and market is planned to launch on July 1st, and will operate from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM on Sunday to Thursday and 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM on Friday and Saturday until the autumn.
UPDATE (July 1st): Operating hours for the beer garden have now been confirmed to be from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Holiday Mondays.
