TORONTO, ON – True History Brewing has announced details of a trio of pilsners that are being released tomorrow (Saturday May 27th), a day that the brewery has dubbed A Crisp Day in May.
Perle Pils (4.4% abv):
Perle is a German hop, and for this beer we figured we’d work with it and it alone to see how it played. We used a double decoction mash, a traditional long and cold fermentation, and conditioned at sub zero temps for almost 9 weeks.
Polish Pils (4% abv):
Polish Lubelski and Marynka hops bring a really unique profile to the beer, while also offering a lot of familiarity in what you’d expect out of a Pils.
Imperial Pils (5.6% abv):
Don’t be scared of the big(ger) abv this beer is still as crushable as the rest. Brewed with Saaz and then lightly dry-hopped with a French hop called Triskel.
All three pilsners will be available starting at 12:00 noon tomorrow at the True History taproom and retail store. For more details, see the True History Instagram page.
