CAMBRIDGE, ON – Barncat Artisan Ales has announced that it will be closing this summer after seven-and-a-half years in operation.
In a statement posted on Instagram, brewery owners Matt Macdonald and Jeremy Skorochid wrote the following:
We’ve got some sad news to share this morning. At the end of August we will be closing the doors of Barncat Artisan Ales.
We will be continuing to release new beers into July and selling beer into August.
We’ve had a blast making beer for you guys the past 7.5 years. We’d like to say a big thank you to everyone who has supported us over the years and those who continue to do so in our final months.
The announcement also notes that any breweries interested in purchasing Barncat’s equipment can contact barncatales@gmail.com for a list of available items.
