CRANBROOK, BC – The Victoria Beer Society has announced that it is partnering the BC Ale Trail and Cranbrook Tourism to host a special satellite edition of The Great Canadian Beer Festival in the Kootenays this fall.
The Great Canadian Beer Festival On Tour will take place on Saturday, September 23rd, 2023 at Balment Park in Cranbrook, and promises to offer “an unforgettable experience that combines the finest craft beers from across British Columbia and Canada, fun entertainment, and an array of delectable food from local vendors.”
The announcement provides the following additional details:
Held at the basecamp of the Kootenays, GCBF On Tour will showcase the roster of breweries in surrounding communities alongside beers from across Canada in true GCBF fashion. Festival goers will have the opportunity to taste beers they can’t find anywhere else in British Columbia at this premium craft beer tasting event. In addition to exploring the best craft beer Canada has to offer, GCBF on Tour will also provide entertainment, bring together local business vendors, and feature yummy food from local food vendors. Keep an eye out for special Sip & Stay offerings brought forward by the BC Ale Trail and Cranbrook Tourism.
Tickets for GCBF On Tour are available online now, as are tickets to the main GCBF event, which will be happening on September 8th and 9th at Royal Athletic Park in Victoria.
