SCOTLAND, ON – Flux Brewing has announced the release of a new beer to mark Pride Month.
Any Other Way Pale Ale (4.5% abv):
In honour of Pride Month we brewed a light, approachable ale for beer drinkers of all kinds. It’s light and easy, beautifully golden in colour with subtle caramel notes and a crisp finish.
This beer was inspired by Jackie Shane, a black transgender woman who made waves in the Toronto R&B scene in the 60’s. She’s considered a trans pioneer at a time when few held visible positions in the community. Jackie was authentically, and unapologetically herself.
Homesick is available now at the Flux Brewing taproom, retail store, and online shop. Partial proceeds will be donated to The Canadian Centre for Gender & Sexual Diversity.
