Blindman Brewing Releases New Zealand Double IPA

LACOMBE, AB – Blindman Brewing has announced the second in its Long Weekender Series of double IPAs that are being released through the spring and summer.

New Zealand Double IPA (7.6% abv):

This beer is loaded with very interesting hops from New Zealand (hence the name…). A couple of the varieties are somewhat new, and very hyped-up in the brewing world right now: Nelson Sauvin, Nectaron (fun story about the name…), and Rakau. The hop variety Nectaron was named after a long-standing hop breeder and researcher in New Zealand, Dr. Ron Beatson. It is often said that beer is the nectar of the gods, so when you think about that and Dr. Ron… you get Nectaron! See, told you it was fun.

New Zealand Double IPA will be available soon in the Blindman taproom, retail shop, and online store, and at select beer retailers in Alberta.
