MEDICINE HAT, AB – Eight breweries located in cities and towns along Highway 3 in Southern Alberta – aka the Highway 3 Ale Trail – have announced the release of their 2nd annual collaborative beer.
Ale Trail 3 American Wheat Ale (4.7% abv):
Made with 40% wheat malt imparting bready, doughy flavours and aromas. The Cascade Hops bring a slightly citrus flavour to the beer. Made to quench your thirst on a hot Alberta day.
The new beer was brewed at Medicine Hat Brewing Company with the participation of fellow Medicine Hat breweries Hell’s Basement and Travois Ale Works, as well as Theoretically Brewing and Spectrum Ale Works in Lethbridge, Stronghold Brewing in Fort Macleod, Oldman River Brewing in Lundbreck, and The Pass Beer Company in Blairsmore.
Ale Trail 3 American Wheat Ale be available at all eight Highway 3 Ale Trail breweries while supplies last.
