Calgary Breweries Releasing Collaborations for Neighbour Day 2023

CALGARY, AB – Two pairs of breweries in Calgary have announced the release of collaborative beers to mark this year’s edition of Neighbour Day, an annual event that “provides the opportunity for Calgarians to celebrate our community spirit, kindness and resilience.”

Cabin Brewing and Born Brewing have teamed up to create Mighty Neighbourly Citrus Sour (5% abv):

Mighty Neighbourly is refreshing and bright with bold citrus flare and a tangy and tart finish. Created with a blend of Sicilian lemon, grapefruit, tangerine, and lime, which impart a delicate and balanced flavor profile that combines mild sweetness with bright acidity. Ultimately refreshing.

Elsewhere in town, The Establishment Brewing Company and Annex Ale Project are offering Rumour Has It White IPA (6.5% abv):

This year we teamed up to make a white IPA, which is what might happen to an old-world Belgian Wit if a time traveler from today were able to make their way back to the 14th Century with some dank NEIPA tech. It rocks an even split of wheat to pilsner and all the hop flavour and aroma you want with a balancing (but subtly spicy!) Belgian kiss to finish.

Both beers will be debuting tomorrow (Saturday June 17th) as part of Neighbour Day celebrations and their respective breweries.
