TATAMAGOUCHE, NS – Tatamagouche Brewing has announced that it is marking its 9th anniversary with the release of a closely connected pair of beers.
Layla Rum Barrel Aged Porter (9.8% abv) and Lilith Bourbon Barrel Aged Porter (10.1% abv):
These two rich porters started off as one large batch before being split into two different types of barrels to create Layla and Lilith.
Layla spent one year aging in Foursquare Rum barrels where it picked up flavours caramelized fruit, baking spices and subtle vanilla. Clocking in at 9.8% ABV, Layla is best enjoyed when you have nowhere to be!
Lilith Bourbon Barrel Aged Porter spent it’s first year aging in Knob Creek Barrels, resulting in a rich malt profile with notes of vanilla, caramel and subtle dried fruit. Well balanced oak flavour that carries start to finish, sitting at 10.1% ABV.
