CALGARY, AB – Cabin Brewing has announced the release of a new fruited sour ale for summer.
Cloud Nectar Sour Ale with Haskap Berries, Sicilian Lemon and Vanilla (5.2% abv):
Like manna from heaven, the beer gods have bestowed upon us great helpings of the most glorious liquid bounty for these heavenly summer months. Cloud Nectar is an absolute treat. It pours a rich, vibrant, crimson colour that’ll have all your friends gasping at its uniqueness. It is sour, but is balanced by a dose of sweet lactose to ensure it remains perfectly drinkable. The haskap berries impart rich, jammy notes while the Sicilian lemons – less sour than traditional lemons – give a nice citric tang without puckering your lips. If the beer gods drank a fruit beer, this would absolutely be it.
Cloud Nectar is available now at the Cabin taproom, retail store, and online shop, and soon at select beer retailers throughout Alberta.
