OTTAWA, ON & TORONTO, ON – Tooth & Nail Brewing and Volo have announced the release of a new collaborative ale.
GUSTO (4.4% abv):
We describe the style of GUSTO as “Birra di Giardino”, which means “Garden Beer” – a beer best consumed during the hot months in good quantity. The inspiration is De La Senne’s Taras Boulba, which is a very noble-hop forward refreshing Belgian ale. We used all French hops (Strisselspalt, Mistral, Triskel) and tried to utilize them in as many parts of the brewing process as possible. The beer drinks very clean, crisp and on the bitter end with a noble-hop floral/herbaceous punch in both aroma and flavour.
GUSTO is available now at the Tooth & Nail taproom and retail store in Ottawa, and at Bar Volo, Birreria Volo, and Bottega Volo in Toronto.
