TORONTO, ON – Burdock Brewery has announced the release of “two brand new beers that explore the light & fruity and dark & malty sides of the moon.”
Mango Lime Gose (4% abv):
At a loss for new Gose recipes we picked-up our Tropical Fruit Phone and dialed 1-800-HOT-FRUITS. Who answered the call? Mango and Key Lime! This batch comes packing some seriously juicy tropical flavours (mango smoothie, lime popsicle, mysterious passionfruit) in combination with a satisfying micro pinch of salt.
Dark Lager (4% abv):
Inspiration for this beer came from Matt’s recent trip to the Czech Republic. We used Czech Floor Malted barley in this recipe. This malt is meticulously tended to in massive, football-field-sized cellars – and like it’s name implies, on the floor. This beer hits a satisfying sweet spot. It’s refreshing, real easy drinking, and pours a beautiful rich and dark brown (eerily similar to diet coke). Super smooth, dark lager in the summer is an underrated delicacy.
