HAMILTON, ON – Grain & Grit Beer Co. has announced the release of new flavoured editions of two popular summer-friendly beers.
Sweet Dreams Wheat Beer with Cucumber Melon Green Tea (5.4% abv):
This refreshing Wheat Beer was brewed with the addition of a delicious green tea blend with cucumber and melon from Monarch Tea Co. Bright, summery aromas of green iced tea, toasted sesame seeds, ripe cantaloupe, honeydew and freshly baked Sourdough. Flavour notes of banana bread, cantaloupe, cucumber water, black pepper, all balanced with a earthy green tea finish.
Happy Hour Margarita Sour with Mango (5% abv):
This version of our cocktail series is our re-imagining of the ever popular Margarita, with a fruity twist! We brewed a Gose-base beer, which is a salty sour, then added some mango puree, blue agave and lime to kick it up a notch. The result is a creamy, sweet mango forward sour with vibrant notes of lime and citrus with just enough salt to remind you of a salty rim on your favourite cocktail. The agave gives the beer some added body and a hint of the tequila it might have been.
