GIMLI, MB – Two years after launching as a contract brewery, Interlake Brewing has announced the opening of its bricks-and-mortar location with a “rooftop patio, delicious food, and unique small-batch beers” in Gimli, Manitoba.
Interlake Brewing was founded by Graeme Maclean and Kristin MacCary, and has been brewing out of Oxus Brewing in Winnipeg while building out its permanent home.
The taproom officially opened on July 29th, and is pouring Interlake’s eight Oxus-brewed beers – Hoppy Pelican Pale Ale (5% abv), Rainy Daze Earl Grey Wheat Beer (5.5% abv), Day Tripper Rye IPA (6.3% abv), Winter Sky Blonde Ale (4.5% abv), Wild River Red Ale (4.5% abv), Bay Dreaming Kölsch (4.5% abv), Whitecaps Wheat IPA (6% abv), and Sunny Days Earl Grey Lemon Shandy (4.5% abv) – as well as several new beers created on the on-site 5 hectolitre brewing system.
Interlake Brewing is located at 72 1st Avenue in Gimli, and is open 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM on Sunday and Tuesday to Thursday, and 2:00 PM to 12:00 midnight on Friday and Saturday.
