Longslice Brewery Releases Sip Sip Guava Mango Pale Ale

TORONTO, ON – Longslice Brewery has announced the release of a new collaborative ale that was created to celebrate the upcoming Toronto Caribbean Carnival.

Sip Sip Guava Mango Pale Ale (5.5% abv):

When Meoshi Nottage (@craftbeerphoenix) introduced Jimmy from Longslice and Terry from Black Calder Brewing, bringing them together to collaborate on a beer is exactly what she had in mind. The three parties decided on a Caribbean themed beer to celebrate the cultures of the Caribbean and all they contribute to our city. Black Calder and Longslice came up with the recipe for a fruity Pale Ale brewed with Mango and Pink Guava, fruits locally grown in the Caribbean. Meoshi named it ‘Sip Sip’, a Bahamian colloquialism referring to gossip.

Sip Sip features can artwork by Natasha Pelley-Smith, and is available now at the Longslice taproom, retail store, and online shop.

A release party with a DJ and Caribbean food specials will be taking place at Longslice’s Aviary Brewpub on Friday August 4th starting at 6:00 PM.
