HALIFAX, NS – North Brewing has announced the release of a new collaboration with a local homebrewer to raise funds for worthy cause.
Trails to Ales American Pale Ale (5% abv):
Trails to Ales was brewed with the help of Kevin Dunbar, a homebrewer local to the Timberlea community. We’ve made this brew together as a fundraiser to support the maintenance and repair of the BLT (Beechville Lakeside Timberlea) Rails to Trails pathway. The trail suffered serious damage during the recent rainfall, and it is estimated that $50,000 will be needed to repair and reopen the trail.
Brewed with English Golden Promise Malt and a healthy dose of fruity/citrusy American hops, and fermented with a blend of Norwegian and American yeasts. Lively, lightly bitter, very aromatic with a nice round malt profile. Great post-run/walk/bike beer after the trails (when they are able to re-open).
Trails to Ales is available now at all North locations and the brewery’s online store. 50 cents from each can sold will be donated to BLT Rails to Trails.
