The Establishment Brewing Company Releases Evergreen Daydream West Coast IPA

CALGARY, AB – The Establishment Brewing Company has announced the release of a new beer that is “a modern take on a new-school classic.”

Evergreen Daydream West Coast IPA (6.6% abv):

Traditionally, (AKA as far back as the 90s!) West Coast IPAs were brewed using crystal (AKA caramel) malts. This made for a sweeter tasting, darker coloured beer. But, as the road changes, so do our preferences and the palates of the general public. Nowadays, the West Coast IPAs we thirst for are lighter in colour and more forward in fruity hops—so we made our own dreams come true with this beer!

We took notes from our peers on the very coast for which this style is named and omitted the caramel malt from the grain bill to let the citrussy, tropical, slightly piney realness of the meticulously selected melange of hops shine through. What it “lacks” in maltiness, it makes up for in balanced drinkability.

Evergreen Daydream is available now at the Establishment taproom, retail shop, and online store while supplies last.
